"If our devotion is to the cause of humanity, we will be quickly defeated and broken-hearted, since we will often be confronted with a great deal of ingratitude from other people. But if we are motivated by our love for God, no amount of ingratitude will be able to hinder us from serving one another."

Cabinets - pure white

Flat finish, country blue is so not for me.  Really, it's SO 80's.  I must say, Shawn has been a wonderful coach, giving me pointers and encouragement along the way.  Thanks, hun!  I haven't painted like this since 1996 when I took on the project of my 3rd story apartment above the law firm I used to work for.  Took me two months but they gave me free rent the entire time.  Womp Womp!  I'm quite slow and meticulous, what can I say?
Started with the crown molding above the cabs.  Then worked from left to right on the cabinets, outside only.
Then the underneath.  Neck ache for sure.
Then two at a time, I'd empty the cabs and paint the inside.  When dry, I put everything back inside.  Then repeated process until all the uppers were painted inside and out.  They were painted the same flat blue on the insides otherwise, I think I'd have left well enough alone.
This baby was fun to paint.  Not.
I am so pleased with the white dishes in white cabs.  I'm leaving the two doors off of this section of cabinets.  Love the look and have always wanted to do this!
Prepping the unders for paint.  I decided to replace the old draw pulls so I puttied old holes and drilled new to accommodate the new hardware.
Progress!
