Moms

What a treat to visit the boys school this morning and be honored with a poem read by the principal
dedicated to all the moms.
It was fun to see all the other moms there and watch the kids run around with their friends.

Elijah was the one who really persisted that I attend.  He was so excited about it!

 Love my brown-eyed boy

 Me and my baby, who's not very much of a baby anymore.

But, I will always think of him as my baby.

But, I don't call him that.

Nope. Never.  That's an inside-my-head thought only.

Goobers.  Love them.

 And, my friend, Jen.

She has three boys.

We graduated from HS the same year.

We share birthdays two weeks apart.

I am thankful for her friendship.
