What are the odds that it would snow on Christmas Eve??
Well, it did. Only a dusting which was gone by midday on Christmas.
Even I had to admit it was pretty. The perfect little simple tree!
Christmas 2012
After breakfast, we began our Christmas.
The reading of the first Christmas. It never gets old.
Elijah wanted Mousetrap and he got it!
Joseph was thrilled with his gifts. Now, onto the stockings.
Uh-oh. I'm gonna have duck for cover. They all received Nerf guns!
Christmas dinner. Just us. So nice and relaxing with nowhere to go except to stay put as a little peaceful family. Wait. Did I say peaceful? Hahahahahaha! Christmas humor, right Shawn Shay?
Christmas wings with Shawn's homemade and delicious sauce.
What? Doesn't everybody have this dish for Christmas dinner??
Finger lickin' good!
Slurrrrrrrp!
Not so much for this kid. Nuggets, please.
It was a perfect Christmas!
Simple
Basic
Quiet

Happy Birthday, Jesus! You, truly are why we celebrate - everyday.
So, with that said, Bye-bye Christmas phoo-foo and hello NoRmaL living!
Not sure what NORMAL is exactly, but I can tell you that it's not having a messy, live tree shoved into your living room.
Special props to Elijah my willing and oh so helpful little Christmas elf.
He made decorating and DE-decorating so enjoyable.
