So thankful to Vince Rogers, coach of the highschool team for putting together this great camp. Boys had fun, worked hard and made a few new friends!
Titus and Elijah with their buddy, Dee and new found friend, Joe Marshall - basketball phenom!
We transported Joe to and from camp each day. Elijah caught wind that one of his favorite players couldn't get to work as a camp counselor because he didn't have a ride. He gladly volunteered me!
Titus somehow wrangled him into coming to our baseball games Friday and Saturday night. So sweet of him to give up his time for a lil guy. Joe played baseball for years.
Titus and Elijah really enjoyed learning from Gabe and Bud Mack, two of their favorites on the HS team.
He's teaching Elijah how to do a juggling/bouncing ball handling trick.
Boys. They're always smacking, slapping, wrestling, punching, pushing, and tackling each other.
Coach Rogers thanking the players for their time and preparing for the award ceremony.
Calling up all 3 Shay brothers at once for their tee-shirt.
Seriously, thanks to the players for their sacrifice of time. It's not like they were making millions doing it! And, from what I understand, there was a lot of referring taking place for off court fights. Haha!
Titus won an award for shooting (I think) in his age group.
