"If our devotion is to the cause of humanity, we will be quickly defeated and broken-hearted, since we will often be confronted with a great deal of ingratitude from other people. But if we are motivated by our love for God, no amount of ingratitude will be able to hinder us from serving one another."

grammy & lolo

What a wonderful visit with my mom and Jaime.
Happy Columbus Day, I must say!
The boys were wonderful and thoroughly enjoyed exploring Grammy and Lolo's
front yard, which is what my mom calls the grounds.
She couldn't be happier living there and Jaime has expressed equal
contentment as well.
I'm so thankful that they are safe and well, tucked away in their little nook in the woods and hills of Upper Bucks County!
My mom and I left the boys with Lolo to play Dutch Blitz while we roamed the halls of their place.
I got to see their little store, very impressive!  It's like having a general store in your very own home.
I'm totally jealous.
Each person we passed in the halls, she seem to know.  I loved meeting her new friends!

While Lolo got ready for lunch, we took a walk outside and toured her "front yard".
The boys enjoyed exploring inside too.
Counting all of the fish.
They saw a ginormous one in the little pond.
They lost track of it and were sure he was hiding under the bridge.
I have so many great memories of exploring with my mom on vacation.
She's still got it in her!
Thank you, Mom and Lolo, for a great day and new memories and fun experiences!
We love you dearly.

these pictures are precious!!! I love them. Wish i could have been there too. The boys are so grown up looking and have changed alot since i saw them last. The haircuts i am sure is partly the reason for that. But they are becoming young men. Glad you had such a great visit with Mom and Jaime.
