12 years old today.

joseph, you were the first to call me momma.

you have taught me so much about love, selflessness,

care, devotion, joy, defeat, humility, patience,

and most of all hope.

the kind of hope we have when we love someone

through our Savior.

i hope and believe and trust that His Word

says He has a perfect plan for you.

you are gifted, determined, dedicated, ambitious, responsible,

mature and just a wee bit handsome.

i pray that i love you well.

i pray that you love me back.

i look forward to the day when we will celebrate

all that God has taught us and seen us through.
