"If our devotion is to the cause of humanity, we will be quickly defeated and broken-hearted, since we will often be confronted with a great deal of ingratitude from other people. But if we are motivated by our love for God, no amount of ingratitude will be able to hinder us from serving one another."

let them eat cake!

titus was feelin' some neighborhood love last night, for sure.  come one, come all, everyone came out to wish titus as happy, happy birthday.  he asked for a chocolate cake with chocolate icing so that's what he got.  i must admit, it was pretty dang good, too.  after eating cake, the kids all took off on their bikes and scooters, while the "men folk" played a serious game of street ball.  jb even gave uncle "O" a bloody nose!
 wishing titus a very happy birthday!
 mr. ron, ms. dee, destyn, ayesha and bruce
 the morrisons!
 libby loved playing with keilah.  just last week i started keeping keilah for her momma in the mornings before school.  i walk her and titus up to the bus stop together.
 uncle O, ms. amber, caden and bill
 the birthday boy, titus!!
and to think, we only moved here 6 months ago.  titus surely wasn't lacking for party guests this first harrisburg birthday.  we are blessed beyond measure.  God has proven His love and faithfulness to our family as we have settled in and grown to love with the people of area.

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. amen.  ephesians 4:20-21
