love

my heart is filled with love for these kids.

my heart's desire would be for them to know the love

of the the Father.

to accept it and allow it to change them.

into His image.

love suffers long and is kind;

loves the unpleasant without complaining;

does not act ugly when someone

has something it doesn't;

love does not sing it's own praise,

it thinks of others more than self,

love does not sing its own praises;

is not rude or overbearing, 

love is not selfish,

self-focused or 

self-focused,

is not easily irritated,

does not keep record of wrongs,

but rejoices in truth;

love quietly puts with anything

for the sake of the gospel,

believes and trusts faithfully in God,

His goodness and sovereignty

in all circumstances;

love delights in anticipation

of what God is going to do,

even in the darkest of times,

it continues to love faithfully through

the trial and does not run from it,

but loves through it;

love never, not even once, fails.
