"If our devotion is to the cause of humanity, we will be quickly defeated and broken-hearted, since we will often be confronted with a great deal of ingratitude from other people. But if we are motivated by our love for God, no amount of ingratitude will be able to hinder us from serving one another."

proof is in the pudding

As a thanks for your faithful prayers (you all know who you are), I'd like to share a few pictures of Joseph's classroom Valentine's party I attended on Friday.
Smiling!  Granted games and competition are definitely his gig.
During a lull between game rotations, we played a quick game of Simon Says.
One of the parent helpers visits a nursing home regularly and suggested that the kids make Valentines for the residents.  What a great idea!

This made my heart so glad to see. I was just praying yesterday that God would open up the doors of friendship for him at school and that he would also send him a "Jonathan" ...someone who loves God like he does, someone who could encourage him as he acquaints himself to this area :)
