"If our devotion is to the cause of humanity, we will be quickly defeated and broken-hearted, since we will often be confronted with a great deal of ingratitude from other people. But if we are motivated by our love for God, no amount of ingratitude will be able to hinder us from serving one another."

Classroom Help

When given the opportunity to help in the boys' classrooms, I take advantage whenever possible.  It affords me a "boy's" eye view of their classroom, a chance to serve their teacher, and also a peak into their friendships.
Joseph's group sharing their findings from a reading assignment.
Elijah is making flash cards for multiplication tables.
Titus is busy checking his writing work.

Tuesday, I went along with Elijah's class to The Morehead Planetarium.  Of course, I had my trusty field trip partner at my side, Anna Beth (Dalton's mom).  She rocks.
It was a great trip and I think the kids really enjoyed seeing the stars, moon and sun in the dark room with the dome ceiling.  Cool!
Mrs. Hobgood.  I have always hoped one of my boys would get her as a teacher!

it's awesome to have the opportunity to be a part of your boys lives outside of home life...it means a lot to them =)
